They need to do something so it is more of a even playing field or just let the big clubs in Europe play in there own league.

Let them have their own league and there will be no money for the game in what is left of the national leagues.

Oil money on the backs of impoverished human beings, corrupt officials in FIFA even after Blatter.
The Old Boys Club at the FA(sums them up) who live on gold credit cards and narcissism.
Then don’t get me started on the power given to the media.
After the top eight in England—top two in (Scotland),France,Spain,Italy,Germany occasionally one or two others from Europe things drop off very fast.
Have enough money and you can buy anything but you need more and more to stay there ask the man at Chelsea. :sigh: :coat:

Typical doomsayer nonsense from the Guardian. Like there has never been a thrashing in a cup final before. There was every chance Watford could have beaten City - like Wigan did a few years ago and Palace and Leicester did in the League this season. They were just rubbish.

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. Watford's defending was abysmal but the point he makes about the number of lopsided matches in the Premier League is absolutely right. The gap between the top teams and the rest is not healthy.

The domination of the big leagues by the same teams is not sustainable long-term. Juventus have won eight titles in a row. Bayern seven. Barcelona have won eight of the last 11 La Ligas. The Premier League at least shares its winners around, but that doesn't make the landscape any less gerrymandered in favour of the biggest and richest clubs.
