Canavan - its such a shame that his first season with us was that awful relegation year - I think he'd be a fan's favourite by now if not for that.

Larrieu. I want to say Wotton, absolutely loved him as a player, but... well, you know.

I'm struggling to pin down a favourite player in the current squad. Not because they're not good players but because without being able to see them play in the flesh this season, I feel a little detached.

Favourite from the past 5 years would be Sarcevic. Always put in a shift and it came together brilliantly in his final season. Seems to be Bolton's standout player so far for this campaign.

All-time favourite is Tommy Tynan.

Great player but he only did it for half a season in 92-93 and half a season in 93-94. Mind you, when he 'did it' he really did it.
