Presumably most clubs were in favour of this move. To be fair if we had a long injury list we would probably be in favour, though you would expect that overall this favours the teams with the bigger quality squads to do better out of it. I can't get too excited about it either way, we have a very decent squad, so more options to look after the players, and maybe this was NOT just about physicality but their mental health as well,

With or without this temporary ruling it will still favour the better off teams with larger squads. If more players are injured as a result of 2 games every week the bigger clubs and squads will still be in a stronger position as they will be with 5 subs available. I'm in favour as a one off this season as managers and players from the highest level down are complaining about the extra physical demands on players' bodies this season.
