There is a lot more playing the ball backwards and sideways now - possession foorball.

Does my head in! Not so much the possession, but the negativity of it so often.

Watched some of the playoff games and got so irritated how often a team would be in possession level with the penalty area and rather than cross the ball into the box it would be passed back to a midfielder near half-way who'd pass to a defender who'd pass to the goalie!! Get it in the box FFS!
