As far as I'm concerned we are still playing catch up, but we are still catching up ...

But it's in our hands. If we were to beat Charlton and Scunthorpe. ...

It’s ridiculous to use our PPG over the course of the season, surely?
Look away now then ...

What a great website. On the face of it we appear (I think) to be overperforming based on stats, but that's probably because, generally speaking, when we go one up Adams doesn't mind inviting a bit of pressure, which skews the 'expected goals' line a bit. If we were to concede, naturally we'd look to get a winner and the stats line, strangely, would probably improve.

It's probably another reason we've been consistently overlooked / over priced by the bookies much of this season.

No point dreaming of catching Scunthorpe if we lose to Pompey and Posh. Those two, plus Charlton, are the real crunch games. Scunthorpe are an irrelevance, other than for the vital three points on offer - it's all about keeping 18 teams below us, not overtaking another one.

All three games currently 0-0, so all the teams around us are dropping points.

....aaaaaand as soon as I post that it's MK Dons 0 Bristol Rovers 1

Still Scunthorpe 0 Oldham 0 and Southend 0 Walsall 0

Southend now losing 2-0 to Walsall, which should effectively rule them out of a playoff challenge. If Oldham can keep out Scunthorpe that will be a great result for Argyle too.

Well that's VERY handy. In fact it's now 2-0 Oldham.

Southend 0 Walsall 3, that honeymoon period is well and truly over.
