EXETER/OWLERTON
I’m guessing he was in the south stand rather than the shed which his father would have been almost suicidal to take him in. Even so, I wouldn’t have sat in their stand with a green and white scarf on.

At a very famous ground up north beginning with H I saw two Sunderland lads get an almighty beating in the south stand for celebrating a Sunderland goal. The South stand is also nicknamed the Werthers Originals stand if you get my drift, so not known for its hooligans. Not proud of it at all, but you have to be very careful even today at some grounds if you go in the wrong stands. Back in the day, it was risky to say the least.

A mate and I sat in the Bournemouth main stand for an Argyle game back in the 80's. It was a night match and strangely hardly any greens in the ground. We jumped up when Argyle scored (Tynan from memory) and were made to feel 'very unwanted' for the rest of the game. Bournemouth fans aren’t generally up there with the ICF!
