London train travel to Charlton, Lewisham replacement buses

Buses replace trains between Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath this Saturday 22nd.

This affects the more direct service of:
London Waterloo East, London Bridge, Lewisham to Blackheath and Charlton (on the Dartford line).

So, allow extra time for replacement buses from Lewisham .

However, there is an alternative - Catch a train from London Bridge, but go on a slight detour of Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park and then Charlton.

Check before you travel - as it may well change …

… I'd really recommend to anyone coming up and looking for a drink and food before the game to get to the area around the Cutty Sark (Greenwich), which is packed with great pubs and food options. Greenwich Market is world class for food, and The Mitre, The Gypsy Moth, Cutty Sark. Pelton Arms and Old Brewery pubs are great.
