We won’t be keeping Matthews . Expect Letheren to strongly challenge LM next season. Having an outfield captain is better than having a goal keeping captain .

He is third choice at Norwich. That suggests that if he wants to start playing regularly he will need to change clubs- and that probably means League One. I dont see why Argyle couldn't sign him, unless we simply can't afford him and would get out competed by the likes of Fleetwood or Oldham again.

As someone has already posted (it would help if you read what OTHER people say occasionally) the Manager has said that he expects Matthews to be No 2 next season.

Never say never, however Mathews is clearly an excellent goalkeeper and will be challenging for the no1 position at Norwich next season. Roos could be available though?

Don’t take what the Norwich manager says as gospel, and perhaps Matthews doesn’t want to be No 2 ?

He's under contract there, so what Norwich say probably is a factor in his future.
