Er, Niall Canavan. Immense today. Not a foot wrong. Spreading the ball like Pirlo!

Canavan is probably the most improved player for Argyle this season. Initially, I thought all the back 3, Wootton, Canavan and Sawyer would be surplus to requirements next season, whichever league we are in, but I now think Canavan would be worth persevering with next season in L1. Afraid I can’t say the same for the other two, sadly. Hopefully Aimson will be fully fit and be an ever present next season, so we will need at least one more defender in the summer. Sawyer and possibly Wootton providing back up.
