Mascots

I was in the Antiques Parade in Plymouth today and noticed he has a 7 foot green cuddly creature in there with "PAFC" emblazoned on the front. This led me to think about whether I can remember any other mascots for us apart from Pilgrim Pete. I do have a vague memory of Pilgrim Pete arriving on the scene in the 80s (and an even more vague memory of him having a "friend") but does anyone remember any mascots before him?
