Drysdale is a "homer" as they say. You dont get that sort of stuff as the away team when he's in charge.

I find it staggering that the FA/Ref association, have removed Hicks from the fixture as he had "issues" in the last fixture between the teams, but deem it appropriate to send someone who they know was involved in a far bigger controversy - how does that work?

I think it was quite revealing when Ferguson said he would shoot the refs last season and he got the equivalent of a wag finger and don't say it loud memo from the EFL.

They can't defend it, its ruining the game and unless we get VAR at all levels and or make refs professional with minimum fitness standards and meaningful competence assessments the product will continue to deteriorate. With all the money swilling around its the least they could give professional football clubs

It's not the fault of the part time officials, some of whom are brilliant but the appalling system.
