New Directors announced

Cautiously optimistic on these two. I think a female representation on the board is always a good start and they seem to be more on the marketing and communications side. Both areas I think the club have lacked for a long time.

My only reservations are they both come from a corporate world, which in many ways is different. However, excellent people will overcome that quickly so here is hoping!!!!

Top quality appointments--but remember that these are non-exec Directors so they will be acting mainly in a consultative and advisory capacity--not hands on. They will also still be carrying on with the considerable duties they already have. Having said that this feels like a very progressive and positive couple of appointments.

What happened was they introduced one of those 'take a ticket' machines to make it fair. Trouble was, such is the age demographic of your admirers, that no sooner had they taken a ticket they promptly forgot why and wandered off :lol:
