By April, John O'Groats might have thawed. Maybe.Wow, what a farce, Truro will be playing in John O'Groats by April 🤣
It was "on" based on an early morning inspection, but "off" after a later inspection. It'd annoy the visiting team - now a Thursday evening match "sometime"Parkway game postponed again today. Parkway have played 24 games, some teams in the league have played 33 games

To be fair there was absolutely torrential rain between 1.30pm and 3pm which was not forecast. It was "on" based on an early morning inspection, but "off" after a later inspection. It'd annoy the visiting team - now a Thursday evening match "sometime"
Surely there must be somewhere else they can play? Saltash? Has every non league ground in the south west been unplayable for a month? As a bit of a shock, Parkway's home game tonight has been postponed.
Too many alligators on the pitch perhaps.
Perhaps so, but most games at that level were called off. The problem has been how often has it been used - plus "too much mud, not enough sand".
There are no grounds in Cornwall that are suitable to stage National League South football. When all other games have been called off that's fine. But haven't Parkway had about 11 games cancelled now due to the pitch?
Letting Truro use it was obviously a massive mistake. Plenty of pitches in Cornwall that should have been able to accommodate them.
Hopefully pitch improvements are a priority for next season.
What is required to be "suitable"? Surely lots of grounds have floodlights and changing rooms. Anything is better than nothing at this point? If a match is played 50 miles from Plymouth its not as if 500 people are suddenly going to turn up...There are no grounds in Cornwall that are suitable to stage National League South football.
No way! The pitch didn’t look as good against Ipswich due to all the wet weather, having Parkway cloggers (i can still remember their defender deliberately trying to injure Ben Waine) ripping it up is not a good idea for our run in.What is required to be "suitable"? I still think it would have been a nice gesture from Argyle to support football in the city to offer their ground in a fallow week given HP is still in good condition.
