Am I right in thinking we went the whole 46 games without a pen? Surely can't have happened before
Didn't Finn Azaz score a pen , don't ask me who against 🤔Am I right in thinking we went the whole 46 games without a pen? Surely can't have happened before
I know the likes of Leicester and Leeds will be playing alot of attacking football so will be around the penalty area more. But the cynic just thinks that this confirms all that has been discussed throughout the season that refs bow to these bigger teams when making decisions in matches? We did get one.
Azaz scored a penalty Vs Rotherham at home.
Hardie scored one in the cup against Sutton.
Here's how it compared to our competitors:
If you're wondering why that's missing a team, it's because Wednesday didn't get a penalty all season.

I can't confirm nor deny your theory, but one extra factor is that the players just know how to go down.
Devine, as just one example, hasn't got a clue how to go down to win a foul.
This in my opinion, is the only downside to building a "nice" squad with our "no knobheads policy".
Compare that to Rutter, Summerville and Dewsbury-Hall, they're the kings of the tumble.
Mumba at Elland Road. Tripped by Ampadu.I can’t remember that many stonewall shouts besides Bundu v Ipswich tbf.
Now he could gain a penalty from nothing🤣I dont remember many of us complaining with his antics when he won a penalty 😁We need Lewis Alessandra back playing for us.
I would say when Bazuna wiped out Hardie. Yes Hardie was looking for it, but he had nowhere to go.I can’t remember that many stonewall shouts besides Bundu v Ipswich tbf.
