On our way from Tavi later. Has a game ever got cancelled for high winds?

Would think the pitch can take it as others have pointed out. And I'm guessing the Grimsby team are holed up locally rather than setting off at 6am?

The rain in Plymouth right now is biblical.

I know our pitch has incredible drainage, but if ever there was still weather that would mean a postponement, this is it.

We may just use the sprinklers for 29 minutes instead of the usual 30 minutes.

A lot of disruption to train services due to fallen trees. Even if game does take place some supporters may struggle to get there.

Dead right....left Paddington at 10:04 but train delayed and now diverted via Bristol Temple Meads..suspect I’m going to miss the game.......feeling anxious :sigh: :banghead:

Right.... We're off. Best of British to all those travelling to the game from wherever.

Down from Wolves for game looking like it is in doubt still windy and chucking it down. Hopefully a decision is made soon to save any wasted journeys

Hmm... Glass half empty as ever but if I were a workman I'd be saying it's too windy to get up there and repair the roof, imagine trying to haul a panel up there and it picking up the wind! Either the panel goes for a Burton or workman goes with it!

Doesn't look good after that statement.

Weather is still awful - fingers crossed but it's hard to see that they can make the necessary safety checks in this wind.

As others have said, this isn't the kind of weather conducive to making high repairs. Expecting the worst.
