I can comprehend some of our players might not get the rivalry but we were playing a six pointer against a team above us which must have been enough motivation to put in a performance. I’m presuming these players have incentive bonuses for finishing top 3 and getting promoted through the play offs. In any game at our level you have to win the battle first and not just turn up expecting the opposition to present three points on a platter.
