Sawyer retires through injury

A fantastic servant to the club and a player that we really missed this season.
He was a steady Eddy type of player, never spectacular but a regular 7/10.
For a defensive player his crosses were very good.
He’ll probably be involved in the new Argyle TV set-up, maybe during the pre-match shows or involved in the hospitality around match days.

Great interview. He comes across as a genuine, honest bloke with real fondness for Argyle. Nice to see him looking so relaxed and to watch a football interview which moves far beyond "the boys done great" usual mantra which too many footballers trot out.ealinggreen":1d5t6nxg said:
