That's a good point, if we missed earlier this season it didn't matter because another chance would come along soon enough.
In Schumacher's last five games as manager (two defeats, a draw and two wins) we created an incredible 82 attempts on goal but we only scored five goals. Against Leicester we had 15 shots, against QPR with 10 men from the 25th minute we created 12 chances, against Rotherham we had an incredible 25 attempts on goal.
It could be argued that we were poor finishers.
Now we simply have to score from the rare chances we create. Our previously poor finishers now have to score from limited chances.
Sometimes perception is contrary to the reality. According to the BBC records, in Ian Foster’s last five games remarkably we have had 74 shots at goal (27 on target) but have only scored three goals with a W1 D1 L3 record and F3 A5 goals. Foster also has marginally a better shots on target ratio over the last five games. We are demonstrably better away from home than at home in terms of shots at goal. It is clearly the latter that needs to addressed if we are to secure our Championship status and that must start on Monday, that is the reality.

The starting 11 that hammered 6 past Norwich contained 10 of our current squad. Try those 10 for a start
Just goes to show the big difference a bit of quality makes. If Rotherham had Morgan and Azaz playing for them they would probably be very near us in the table.

Or we could do it away from home? Fixtures look much easier. At home forget Leicester even Hull if they have something to play for whilst QPR are much improved. Stoke Millwall Rotherham are very "pointable'. Won't satisfy the home fans of course.

Same as if we draw against Norwich and City - that's 2 points and some fans will be ok with that. We could beat Norwich and lose against City but that won't be good enough. We're better off winning one and losing one and I don't care which way around!

Considering the home form if we lose against Brizzle HP will be a vipers nest for IF.

He's had 12 league games in charge, not 9.

Yes, 50% of those have been defeats (6 out of 12). Not great

Schumacher on the other hand lost 45% of his (10 out of 22). Also not great.

However, Schumacher had Azaz, Cundle, KKH, a full backroom staff, a full pre-season on the training ground, a full transfer budget, early season momentum from last season, no upheaval to navigate, full knowledge of the squad's strengths and weaknesses and a supportive fan base.

All luxuries not afforded Foster. Yet an almost identical ratio of defeats.
It took him 3 games to fully implement his ethos and ruin our style.

Yes, but he's still not St Schuey.

To add to this, we have the same record after IF's first 12 games as we had after Schuey's first 12, three wins, three draws and six defeats.

I think the atmosphere for the Bristol game is predetermined, regardless of how well Argyle play or even win. It's a self fulfilling prophecy now. The anti Foster sentiment will outweigh the pro Argyle.

Some will have their priorities for their energy at that game in the wrong place. Probably secretly hoping for a poor loss in the belief it will expedite his exit from the club.

No, despite my name I live in Plymouth and watch Argyle on a stream program
You weren't standing in front of the same people as me at Blackburn then!
