Julian Seaward? David Rowe? Chris Garden? Nic Couchman?

Where did you pluck Nic Couchmans name from? He was in the same DHS class as Nic Warren (and me as it happens but they have gone onto far greater things). Not seen his named mentioned with regard to Argyle before although a top sports lawyer now (who had football dealings with Wayne Rooney at one time) I don't remember him being a football fan let alone at Argyle fan...decent cricketer as I recall from him bowling bouncers at my head

Nic Couchman also involved with private equity firm Sports Investment Partners (SIP)...although they seem to have bigger fish to fry with a big for the Tote

Really I just wondered why Postey had come up with his name now...the others he listed have been around before...not least with rebuffed consortium way back when

Found this from Vital a few years back.

When things started to turn

Late last year a group of wealthy and committed Argyle fans formed a consortium and approached Argyle chairman Paul Stapleton with an offer of £5 million. The consortium comprised of Kevin Ball, Julian Seaward, Chris Garden, Peter Jones and Di Thompson, three of the consortium would have contributed their own personal money towards the £5m on offer but part of the plan was that three current directors would have to leave the club.

Of course Argyle fans will recognise Jones from his successful time as Vice-Chairman at Argyle and would be happy to see him back at the club. It's fair to say that since Jones left the club the communication from PAFC to the fans has been poor. Thompson is Chief Executive of Camelot who operates the national lottery and is also a former Businesswoman of the Year and her expertise and experience would have benefited the club enormously.

Could these be the people waiting in the wings?

As in previous cases where clubs have been in trouble I imagine that someone will step forward at the last minute. Maybe just wishful thinking.

Still think it has been quiet with regard to any interested people. But it can be a part of the plan.

I followed closely what happened to Crystal Palace a year ago and it didn't look particularly bright. A year later, they plan to build a new stadium.

Is Iniment an abbreviation for "in a minute"?
