What has happened to last season's momentum??

We didn't end last season with any 'momentum', it petered out 7-10 games before the end, it hasn't suddenly disappeared this season.

I think we are all concerned about our current form, particularly, lack of pace, but looking at your recent posts, Cobi, you really are in panic mode.

We're bottom of the League, we're even worse than we were at this stage last season, we've won 1 game in 14, and even the majority of the usually upbeat fans seem to just be hoping and praying for another very unlikely, miraculous turnaround. I wouldn't say I'm in panic mode at all to be honest, just accepting a very grim reality.

2017 - 2018 Played 8 Won 1 Drawn 2 Lost 5 For 6 Against 13 Pts 5
2018 - 2019 Played 8 Won 0 Drawn 3 Lost 5 For 4 Against 14 Pts 3

End of last season and the start of this one, we have won ONE game in the last 14 League matches, thats 8 points from a possible 42 pts.

Jeez we are in deep do do. Just to clarify though are we talking of 8 points from last 16 league games , or last 14 league games?

The figures quoted are misleading it’s true we’ve had one win in 14 but the 2017-2018 figures are wrong as we won 3 of those 8 by my reckoning ?

8 matches this season and the last 6 of last season = 14 matches = ONE win in 14 League matches.

The “played 8, won 1, drawn 2, lost 5” bit is referring to how we stood this time last season ie we’re worse now. The fact that we’ve also gone 14 consecutive league games with only one win shows how bad we are.
