Moore crosses & Edwards scores!!! :scarf:
The critics have to admit that was pretty ironic.

I think they both good players, but as wing backs lm not convinced just by tonight’s performance.

The argument above was like last time in league one in our second season. Everyone saying at February Adams is a good manager. By May everyone was calling for his head.

You guys might be right, however, l prefer to see what happens over the course of a season and not one game. I mean before Cooper’s COVID situation Edwards wasn’t even getting in the team.

What l will say is if Edwards continues to play as well as in his last two games then good chance he will hold his place this season.

I’ve watched teams play wing back systems and the reason l made this thread is because l believe if you play a wing back system you need specialist players and not good players you shoe horn into making them wing backs. I think you need energetic full backs who are good going forward. For example, old Argyle players that l think suits a Ryan Lowe team would be Gary Poole or Mark Patterson at RWB.

I was very impressed by Edward yesterday. It appears to me that he has been encouraged to run with the ball at his feet a bit more and aim to break lines. He did it a couple of times against Wigan and similarly last night. And he has generally chosen his moment to do it well. It usually means him coming inside but it changed the dynamic and opened up options. He’s also much more solid defensively than Moore and gives shape and closes spaces. In that respect what we win on one flank - solidity - we lose on the other but Moore himself will do what he did yesterday and get to the byline with a cross. Edwards less so. I thought overall our shape was the best I’ve seen this season yesterday and I’d stick to this line up for a few more games
