At least they're an actual historic Football League club though, unlike Salford/Fleetwood/MK Dons etc. They probably would have made it back eventually. But the idea that they are somehow an underdog success story is clearly nonsense.

It's that portrayal of them for the TV consumers despite the multi millions involved that is jarring. Like all TV led 'reality projects', there's a falseness in it's portrayal.

If most of the income is from overseas..they will have a hard time keeping that going once the TV series runs it's course. Overseas fans are more fickle and will just jump on the next new thing.. to be honest the football documentary has had it's peak now I think.
