Too much choice for an informed decision. The darker green is more easily worn outside football, the lighter one is too easily Yeovil or Celtic. Hoping the away shirt is not mauve, red or blue.

True, but Yeovil and Celtic are hoops. A solid green shirt looks absolutely brilliant and unique in British football. I love the lighter Saint Etienne shirts.
Do Man United or Liverpool change their shade because they’re worried they’ll get mistaken for each other?
Edit... bad example, a better one would be Saint Etienne changing all the green shades they use, because they're worried they'll get mistaken for a lower-league French club that plays in green. Or Panathainakos or Sporting Lisbon when they play in Europe. But they don't, because they're proudly 'Les Verts' as we should be proudly green too.
