Just a thought, but these are a A) Not so passé as a 'personalised plate' more of a 'personal plate', B) They're a good price and C) The ones on the right can get you into a Cornish car park when no others can get in .



I've got two, and when people ask the initials are about I always say 'Plymouth Argyle Fan'. :thumbs:

These are from DVLC and also include transfer charges, so as cheap as chips compared to the 'personalised' ones.

Best one I ever saw was on the North Circular near Finchley, a silver people carrier with the reg OY V4Y - I kid you not! Made me laugh out loud.

I was on the M1 a few of years ago and a Morris Minor van went past with the number 51 NGH (I wonder what that's worth these days??) and the sign on the side of the van was 'Singh Brothers Plumbers - You've tried the cowboys now try the Indians'.

All their vans have plumbing-related custom number plates such as, BOG 1, B1 DET, LAV 1, F1 USH, W4TER, DRA 1N and S1 NKS. I've seen a few of 'em driving around Sarf London. Always get me smiling!

I tried that plate last night but the mods disapproved. Not sure what I did wrong :think:

You attributed the plate to the person that perhaps didn't want it "out there" - Site Admin.

Nothing heavy but remember "Other club's fans" read this site.
