Out of passing interest, how does Graham Carey fit the clue 'against all odds?' Is it a song by Maria Carey?

I struggle with the clues even when we have the answer.

Always thought that communication was about sending a message and checking that people had received it and understood contents.

Looks another decent signing on paper another one year contract it seems but it wouldnt surprise me to see contract extensions being provided halfway through the season after adams has judged his players in league competitive games. As mentioned hopefully the replacement for Hourihane a creative attacking central midfielder we missed last season. And set piece specialist too. Bobby Reids corners were the worst I have ever seen since I have been supporting the club so hopefully we will score more from set pieces with the likes of Hartley and Mchugh coming up from the back.

Amateur official site again "represented his COUNTY " sorry to nit pick, but it's shoddy and reeks of slapdash attention to detail

Chill out mate, enjoy the sun..

To be fair to Frank, someone's smashed into his car today.

He's an even less happy bunny than he usually is.

If, unlike Bobby Reid, he can either hit set pieces with a bit of pace or get them beyond the first defender then I'm sold.

Welcome aboard the good ship Mayflower.

Another late afternoon announcement.

He sounds like our missing link, a creative midfielder we've missed for a year or so.

Wingers and midfield playmakers at Argyle, what the hell is going on! :)

Style of play

Carey can play on the left or right side of midfield or as a striker. He is very direct at the full backs, a free kick and long throw specialist and his crossing has been described as "unbelievable".[13] While at St Mirren, Carey was used as a left back and as a wing back on the left side.[58]

So more of a wideman rather than the midfield playmaker described by the Argyle website.
From looking at other websites it seems he is mainly a wide player who can also play in the middle.

Think we need another CM and another winger.

Things are coming together nicely.

Adams doesn't seem to be having much issue with signing players from far away! Maybe there is a difference in culture in Scottish football. "A jobs a job they say" This is also dispelling the talk that players dont like Derek Adams as another former player wants to play for him again!

Welcome Graham. I hope your time down here is a good one :)

I think it must be the connection with the Argyle & Sutherland Highlanders. They must feel it is like coming home, after all, Buckie is brewed just a step up the road. Any more thoughts?
