The draw for the annual £12,000 prize takes place 'on the pitch' at a home league match in December. 12 members' numbers are drawn before the draw date and the 12 potential winners assemble on the pitch where a knockout process decides the winner.
I believe that it would market/promote the BGL better if the monthly £500 draw also took place 'on the pitch' at home matches during the season.
£2 a week to raise funds for the Argyle Academy with the chance of winning one of 10 weekly £10 prizes, 12 monthly £500 prizes and one annual £12,000 prize is worth a go for supporters who can afford it.
Good luck, Katkin and anyone else who decides to join.
