Nah, haven't you noticed that the professional moaners have disappeared off the face of the earth.
Deny them of anything to mank about and they're are truly stumped.
The old saying of 'If you have nothing good to say, then don't say it' seems to ring very true in some places.
I am not sure if I qualify as a 'professional moaner' but I made my views clear about the unsuitability of the time of the Fans Forum for the vast majority of Argyle fans and so it proved. I sincerely hope, the next Fans Forum is hold post match - say 5.30pm to 6.30pm when more fans will be able to remain at the ground without having to wait around for a number of hours.
I do not think that an under-reporting or lack of comment should be interpreted as disinterest. It is more a reflection of frustration and disappointment that is creating a malaise at the very time when our on-field fortunes are looking the best for many years and the number of supporters returning to Home park is on the increase.
At the Bristol Rovers game we had over 9,000 Argyle fans attend Home Park. Apart from those attending the Argyle Lounge and the Fans Fest ( a combined total of around 400 and all pre-booked) there was no where for supporters to meet, drink and socialise outside Home park so 95% of Argyle supporters could not do what they many most wanted to pre-match and post-match come to that. The Britannia was bursting at the seams.
At a time when the football club is looking to maximise commercial income (on an unbudgeted basis) to support the team on the pitch we still have a level facilities that must rank among the lowest, even by League 2 standards. Like many others I await with interest the details of the new GT proposals but I suspect it will fail to significantly address the scale of the issue and that in my view should not solely rest on the overworked shoulders of the splendid GTs but with the football club specifically.
