Ollie... I've been supporting this club since 1962 and guys like Dunlop/Mike Greening go back a lot lot earlier than that. We've seen it/heard it all before...these promotion promises,every season what have you...so we tend not to get too excited as each new season dawns...Miserable old farts is somewhat insulting...

Possibly mildly insulting Al.
But there's an element of truth in there too! :lol:

Am I excited and optimistic about the coming season you bet i am I bet us miserable old farts are more green tinted than the majority of the keyboard warriors on this site.

Who called you a miserable old fart? Nobody but Oddball started throwing names around. Simply an emotive response to a similarly emotive claim that someone is living in "cloud cookoo land" and a "troll" for being positive.
