Boateng played for 78 minutes today and scored against Brentford in a Palace udner-21 game, he also played for 71 minutes last week in another under-21 game against Ipswich.

At least he's getting some match fitness.

Let's hope that is bad news for Oxford or Accrington or both.

Palace have allowed winger Sullay Kaikai to return to Shrewsbury on-loan until the end of the season.
He was recalled by Palace from Shrewsbury in December because of injuries.

Sullay Kaikai who was recalled by Palace from loan at Shrewsbury at the same time that they called Boateng back has been allowed to resume his loan at Shrewsbury. What chance that Boateng will be allowed to resume with us? Just hope we get some positives on this one in the next day or so.

Boateng played the full game in another Palace under-21 game today and claimed an assist in a 2-1 defeat. He's certainly match fit.

What a waste of talent the existence of the Premier League is creating. All the money they have allows them to buy players and keep them happy playing reserve team football. Pre Sky these youngsters would have been playing proper football whilst we wouldn't be turning other country's players into better players.

Cue LC in self righteous "teach the yokels" mode.

The situation will change from next season when emergency loans will not be allowed. Teams will need to utilise their contracted players which, I believe, will benefit Argyle. DA has experience of this, as he has explained that emergency loans are not available in Scotland outside the transfer windows.

It could give us a better opportunity of signing players like Boateng, Tanner and Threlkeld.

He's not been as sharp since returning for his second spell but he has done enough to comfortably win this website's Young Player of the Year and Loan Player of the Year awards.
Apparently, he missed 2 'sitters' in time added on yesterday with the score at 2-2 but even if we had got 3 points for a win we would not have achieved automatic promotion.
Overall, a good loan signing for us.

Still a good player, although he seems to have returned with a touch of bantonitis, a south-east London disease. Hopefully curable though.
