Why do we need an away strip or is it compulsory under FL rules?

I can't see any reason under FL rules why we need an away strip as no teams have green home shirts (unless we play Yeovil in Div 1 next season). Choosing blue as an away colour which is the most common colour worn by home teams in this league seemed to be contrary to FL rules as below. In fact we have had to wear our home shirts on several occasions this season which makes it farcical to choose blue in the first place.

38.2 When away from home Clubs will play in colours (shirts, shorts and stockings) which are clearly distinguishable from those of their opponents.

You certainly get some choice comments from home fans when the Green Army turn up in blue.

To be fair it's hard to tell between our dark green and dark blue.

Green and black stripes will only work with a lighter shade of green. Tangergreen would be good, I like this season's away kit but I don't really want another striped shirt if it's that awful template we've been given. Yellow's a no too.

We need an away kit, and a contrasting one but the blue is horrific, don't like it at all, mundane as well as it not looking very professional (to me).

I have a problem telling between some lits, mostly reds and green so away kit are important for people like me, otherwise I'd have no idea what was going on sometimes.

Anyone?
Dreadful. Can't stand the yellow, very cheap looking. The blue is ok but black is my preferred choice.

We Await the 2014-15 Away Shirt design

There's a Black Away Shirt doing the rounds on twitter at the moment

Last time we had a Black away shirt was 2006-07 in the championship

Black would be a great choice as we have had : light blue , white , yellow , tangerine , navy blue , champagne & dark blue and also GREEN

Not black please, it makes night games a visual challenge.

As someone who believes our kits should only contain any of three colours Green, Black & White. Preferably all three. I'd plumb for predominantly White with Green & Black trim! I never have & never will buy any away shirt of any other colour!
