For brunty money is no object - he has very wealthy background - whereas Reuben has 3 kids under 5 and a mortgage on a house in Bristol. You can't expect him to pay for the same level of treatment as brunty

Can actually back that one up! Brunt is quite a successful businessman in his own right and has a decent background as well.

That said, the club don't have to pay for anyone's preferred treatment, it would depend what is available locally. I imagine Reuben has a decent nest egg from his career thus far and could probably pay himself or through his insurance. The club does have an obligation to the player but within the bounds of what is practicable. If you've seen written confirmation then it smacks of Reubs throwing his toys out of the pram because he didn't get his own way.

When was it established that he needed this 'miracle' treatment?
I can't help thinking that these rumours will be more beneficial to Portsmouth than to Argyle at this stage of the season.
I have to repeat this and add that I have never heard of a specialist treatment that would make the patient 100% fit and firing on all cylinders within a few days.

EPO :)

PASOTI is often very good but this thread is everything that is bad about internet forums: people who know fu ck all pretending they have some searing facts so that they can get a few moments of oneupmanship, at the cost of potentially damaging the reputations of people who can't respond.

As for the title - someone needs to be accountable for two (not 2) ... four years improving position from nearly going under, we are in the playoffs and could yet get promoted. Crap season, right. Well done to all who should be held accountable and learn from the mistakes.
