I must admit I noticed him play for Accy against us up there and he was their best player.

Down here he was a nothing player, but that happens.

I love the way this site closes in on people when they make slight anti brent comments particularly IJN. I remember once I posted a correct prediction of the team in one of team prediction threads and I was immediately called into a meeting by Mr Starnes and Mr Turner and questioned. I am a fully paid up member of the green army and if our club won't pay for our best strikers chosen treatment then I think it is relevant to supporters who pay good money to follow their team...this is a democracy surely. I was only congratulating the board profusely the other day for accepting investment so I am fully balanced and just want a professional well run club but one that also shows a certain amount of ambition or there really is no point!

Frankly, even if there is some substance to what you are saying, I cannot understand your motives for making these allegations at this time.
Based on your previous contributions to this website, despite your claim that you are a fully paid up member of the Green Army, I get the distinct impression that you have more interest in Reuben Reid's career than the future success of Plymouth Argyle. You obviously don't rate Derek Adams because I recall quite recently that you stated that you would have Romuald Boco as our manager. You have also just stated that you have previously been called to a meeting with Messrs Starnes and Turner which seems to imply that you are well known at the club and have caused there to be 'issues' in the past.
I don't know about Liam Vercoe, but I have no interest in reading any 'full on written substance' that you may have because, as a ST holder and loyal supporter for over 60 years, I am only interested in positive information about our club, particularly at this stage of the season.
As I have already stated, I believe that the only club that will benefit from this thread is Portsmouth FC who you have previously implied that you have 'inside knowledge' about.

One of my business partners used to play for Pompey within the last few months so yeah I had inside info on Pompey which is why I knew of their strong interest in Reuben and even that they put in bids for him. Listen I am as positive as they come which is why I want the club to do their utmost to get reuben on that pitch in the best state he can be both physically and mentally..
(the rommy for manager quote was a joke that I knew he would read) I actually think Adams is doing an ok job, but if it really is his decision to play houghton every game (which I don't believe it can be as he is such a good judge of a player) then I have my doubts..

I would suggest that the intention of the OP which was originally on the Main Discussion was to stir the poo, perhaps that was the intention of the person who 'told you'.

Very strange thing to post on hearsay and not for the first time I suggest you think three times before pressing 'submit'.

I don't doubt you are an Argyle fan but perhaps you should curtail your need to appear 'in the know' as it could damage your club in a very important time of the season.

If Jason Turner and Martyn Starnes had you in before, I would imagine you have been told this before.

I was told on sunday night about the houghton situation and I have written evidence about reuben injury situation and the club not wanting to pay for his preferred treatment. poo stirring is when you are making stuff up. I am not. I want the best for the club and if you like it or not a team with a fit Reuben and a team without Houghton is best for the club (that bit is my personal opinion of course). Nothing more to say on this matter. If you want to ban me from the site thats cool but I want whats best for the club and team and if I think something is detrimental to our chances I will say so. IJN I have a lot of respect for what you have done post admin I really have but you really need a more balanced view regarding the board and in particular Mr Brent. I appreciate their efforts but they can't be right on everything. Have you ever criticised anything that the board have done. You are obviously in the ear of Mr Brent which is why it is even more important that you constructively criticise when required. That really is it now on this until post play offs. In the meantime I will keep working on reuben to see if he will stay next season. Him and Matt next season can tear up league 1;-) Good Night

What l don't understand is Brunty states how he has been treated by a top specialist in London and then going for rehab in America.

So if he can get good treatment why wouldn't Reid be looked after the same.
