They playing with one up it seems. Sheridan needs to exploit this and play a 3 at the back and put the extra man forward into midfield where the advantage will tell more.

Pointless playing a 4 against one opponent.

You couldn't tell we have an extra man. Not good enough.

We were much better when they had 11 men.

Our crosses and set pieces are clueless.

Everything Southend are doing is coming down the right, Mellor struggling, defensively ok but worse than Soukouna with the ball at his feet.

Both CMs doing well but risky having them both booked.

Morgan has been outstanding & Banton good.

Nothing clear cut for either team.

Very even, very bad tempered game.

Poor first half, need to go 3 at the back like second half at bury! Southend are there for the taking.. keeping the faith and going 2-0 argyle. God help us if we don't win this game!
