Feared for us as soon as they went down to 10. Sheridan lacks tactical nous to break them down and react to new match situation. Phil Brown wily operator. Both our defensive midfielders have been booked which isn't helping and Alessandra has been disasterous.

Love League 2 for the comically bad ref and defender who got red carded- he effectively accumulated 4 yellows in about 10 mins an ha a long warning from ref.

We need to go 3 at back- take off McHugh and bolster centr midfield. Also take off Cox who has been off the boil again.

You couldn't tell we have an extra man. Not good enough.

We were much better when they had 11 men.

Our crosses and set pieces are clueless.

Everything Southend are doing is coming down the right, Mellor struggling, defensively ok but worse than Soukouna with the ball at his feet.

Both CMs doing well but risky having them both booked.

Morgan has been outstanding & Banton good.

Nothing clear cut for either team.

Very even, very bad tempered game.

Agree with all this, except perhaps Morgan not outstanding just yet.

History - forget it. Fans hailed Cox as the saviour which then sweetened the loss of Horrorhane as fans called him 12 months back.
