Personally I think seekng TD in the starting line up will be a surprise. Maybe 30+ minutes as a sub. Just do not see him being considered anywhere fit enough.

Letheren
ATS
Edwards
Songo’o
Sawyer

Fox
Serevic
Carey

Wylde
Lameiras
Blissett

Hmm I'm not sure Derek has the luxury of not starting TD. He has to hope he hits the ground running and things start to turn around pronto with his presence in midfield. I don't think he has the luxury of two more defeats on the spin.

There will be people in and around the boardroom who remember giving Luggy too much time second time around.

Jervis Cary Wylde
Blissett

Don't think he'll stray too much from 4-2-3-1 especially as we're entertaining the league leaders.

Not what I would pick but this is what I think Adams will go with:

Letheren

Sawyer
Songo'o
Edwards (Bradley if Edwards not fit)
Threlkeld (ATD if Threlkeld not fit)

Toumani
Ness

Wylde
Carey
Jervis

Blissett

What I would go with:

Letheren

Sawyer
Songo'o
Edwards (Bradley if Edwards not fit)
Threlkeld (ATD if Threlkeld not fit)

Carey (right - but if Threlkeld doesn't play, Grant on the right and Carey on left - dropping Wylde)
Toumani
Fox
Wylde (left)

Blissett
Fletcher

Yep. And I think we'll win.

Not so much typical Argyle, as typical football.

Assuming we're sticking to the Adams 4-2-3-1 I'd go with this:
Letheren

Threlkeld (if actually fit - ATS if not)
Edwards
Songo'o
Sawyer (c)

Fox (if fit - Sarcevic if not)
Toumani

Jervis
Carey
Wylde

Blissett

much depends on if Oscar is fit. if Oscars fit I go with back 4. if he isn't I go 3. ( I think he will be fit )

Letheren

Threkeld
songoo
Edwards
sawyer

new bloke
fox

carey
jervis
wylde

fletcher ( I hope, I think blissett )

I think it could be a risk playing fletcher by himself, however with his movement & pace, it could be a perfect foil for the other 3 attacking players.

Two thoghts in my mind:

1) Play 3-5-2. We don't have a striker who can play the lone role that well, none of the wingers so far have massively impressed me, and 3 at the back would help with our lack of pace back there. Something like:

Letheren

Edwards
Songo'o (in the 'McHugh' stopper role)
Bradley

Threlkeld
Fox
Diagouraga
Sawyer

Carey

Ciftci
Fletcher

Subs: Cooper, ATS, Ness, Sarcevic, Grant, Jervis, Blissett.

2) concede that we just aren't a good enough passing team at this level and play a Gareth Ainsworth style hoof and chase, hit diagonals up to a target man (Blissett), get men around him and try and win second balls. Wouldn't be pretty but if we actively tried playing hoofball rather than being forced into hoofs through lack of good ball retention, we might be more effective. Hence, playing with one guy sitting deep in front of the back 4 and the other two CM's pushing up really high to win second balls - it's what Wycombe did to us in the playoffs and I hate to say it worked a treat. Eg:

Letheren

Threlkeld
Edwards
Bradley
Sawyer

Fox

Carey
Diagouraga

Ciftci
Fletcher
Blissett

Subs: Cooper, Songo'o, ATS, Ness, Sarcevic, Jervis, Grant.

As we are playing the top team and a draw might be considered a reasonable result by some maybe he will adopt an old Scottish formation which was 4 - 6 - 0 where they didn't even play a striker and tried to hold out for a 0 - 0 draw

i feel if we start with blissett and fletcher we will win this match.blissett won plenty of flick ons last week with nobody to take advantage of them.
