Unless it's a CAM, I really don't think we need some youth midfielder.

In fact, I'm not too sure we need anybody (anyone who we could realistically get), if players are played in position then our side is good enough.

The Swansea Gray was a right-winger so assuming Sheridan intended to play him on the right and that the new guy may also play on the right, Thomas' place isn't jeopardised by a new arrival - only by Sheridan's tactical nouse.

The Swansea Gray was a right-winger so assuming Sheridan intended to play him on the right and that the new guy may also play on the right, Thomas' place isn't jeopardised by a new arrival - only by Sheridan's tactical nouse.

Precisely this. Thomas is a left-sider and at a push could play in the hole behind a striker.

He's not a right-sider and he's certainly not a CM- if we sign either of those then it's got nothing to do with Thomas.
