The pitch is probably too good for us

It seems to me quite obvious that the Home Park pitch has had a curse put on it probably as a result of being one of the finest playing surface in the bottom two divisions at least, not having been paid for.

The curse means that any player sporting a green shirt is now incapable of passing accurately to a team mate more than ten yards away and the team as a whole are unable to string two or more passes together.

In contrast, opposition teams from up north, used to playing on mud heaps are transformed into world beaters as soon as they step onto the hallowed turf that is Home Park.

So what can be done to remove the curse ? There seem to be three solutions the forces would be appeased by payment of the sum owed, though not possible I hear you say given the present state of our finances. Or we could confuse the forces by changing the colour of the shirts the Greens play in but not to black as the performances of the officials in black this season make it obvious that they are similarly affected by this curse.

Or we could send for a magician to remove the curse there seem to be two candidates Wizard Warnock or Soothsayer Sturrock.

The future wellbeing of PAFC depends on making the right choice: begging bowl, change of shirt or bring in a magician?

Wot as ?? There's no vacancy so it would have to be as a magician who can also release green doves (beats ballons and rabbits)
