Sorry I thought all these functions were to repay the staff. I think a lot of people gave as they thought that the monies raised was to help the staff and ultimately assist the club out of debt especially the bucket collections.

The GTs money is for the staff in the form of a accelerated loan payments. Apparently if it keeps on going the way it has the staff will be paid off by the end or the season which is a fantastic effort by the GTs and fans. Once this done the GTs will continue to raise money for community projects and the accelerated staff wage loans will be paid back to them to put towards this. Out of all the bad coming out of the club during admin and the recent negativity surrounding the place, the GTs really have been the shining light of what the club and its fans can achieve when they work together.

Spot on, Gary,Mark and Bill have done a fantistic job along with all of the people who help, the way they have kept out of the poitics of the club has also got to be applauded.

Anyway, back on topic I take it that the club hasn't yet responded to the concerns raised by the Trust?
Perhaps we'll hear something in this weeks Trust email to members David

Perhaps. I haven't received mine yet.

But shouldn't the hoi polloi also be allowed to know what words of wisdom have been issued by the football club?

Openness & transparency.

I agree David.
What's good for the goose and all that.
I think the emails usually come out to us members on a friday.
Perhaps this week might be combined with a PASB update too.
And the success that was the Foodbank collection too

The Trust seem to have disappeared into their shell on this one.

If Brent still hasn't responded to the points raised 10 days ago then why not tell us?

And as for the PASB they seem incapable of releasing minutes of a meeting that took place more than a week ago.

Anyone from the PASB willing to put their head above the parapet and tell the rest of us what is going on?

This is getting a bit ridiculous now, David. Essentially what you're asking is for someone from the Trust to come on every day and say 'we haven't had a response today.' Or maybe one in the morning and one in the evening? I think it's safe to assume that when the Trust has received a response from James Brent, they will say so.

If you're that keen on turning round admin work for the Trust or the PASB quicker than they have the capacity to do at present, why not volunteer to help them out? But this constant griping makes you look a bit of a mam.

Thanks for that Gareth.

I feel it's important for both the Trust and the PASB to engage with the wider fan base.

If that makes me a bit of a mam then guilty as charged.

It would appear from Damon Lenszner on the 'PASTA to host New Years meeting with James Brent' thread that a response from James Brent has in fact been received.

Damon posted: "I am certain that the actual reply will be made public at some point. It does not make for pretty reading."

Can anyone from the Trust confirm that this is correct and let us know when the reply will be published?
