Absolutely, the quicker the league table looks like 3 for automatic promotion rather than 3 from 4 the better.

As long as we’re one of the three.

Crewe (H), Macclesfield (A), Cambridge (H), Bradford (A), Grimsby (H), Macclesfield (H), Morecambe (A), Orient (A), Exeter (H), Grimsby (A), FGR (H), Walsall (A), Northampton (H), Oldham (A), Vale (H).

Interestingly, our home fixtures are pretty tough compared to our awa. But on current form, I would anticipate us winning 8 of those at least (in bold). The others will be tougher, but home advantage could be huge. A win against Crewe would be a great start.

It’ll be absolutely massive if we’re in the top 3 (and ideally Exeter) ahead of our game against them. That being a ‘must win’ game will be horrible.

Without checking our fixtures again, I seem to recall most of the top half sides we still have to play are at HP. Still, no easy games when plenty to play for now

I also think if we win 6 games within the last 10 games, and pick up 1 or 2 draws that should just get us over the line, predictions suggest 90 will win title and about 84 will be automatics give or take

I still do not think even 3 out of the 4 teams around us will average 2 points a game for the rest of the season. I am hoping Vale don’t have too much to play for on the last game of the season.

Would be very surprised if Swindon don't win the title. Think we'll finish second. Crewe third.

10 will certainly do it.

Going to be a close run in at the end.

I think Swindon are gone, leaves 2 places to us, Crewe, Cheltenham and them up the road.

Cheltenham still have Exeter and Swindon to go yet, I'd hope Swindon to them over and a draw with Exeter would be the best outcome for us.

Crewe's run in is fairly tame so I would expect them to take one of the 2 places left.

Exeter have started their annual flop and of they dont arrest it soon they'll be out of the running.

The loser of our game with them will finish in the playoffs for sure.

Over the past 10 seasons, 86 points has always guaranteed promotion, and an average of 83 points is usually enough, although Accrington (2015-16, 85 points), Wycombe and Southend (2014-15, both 84 points) and Southend (2011-12, 83 points) missed automatic promotion.
On that basis, 10 more wins and a couple of draws should be enough (or 9 wins and a handful of draws!).

Agree that it's still a bit early to tell.. some hard games ahead, but looking promising in current form.

For 86 points we now need 7 wins from 10 remaining games. Tough ask.

I’m looking at 84 points as being the magic mark, possibly even 83. So let’s say 6 wins or 5 wins and a few draws should suffice.
