Watts has had a really good game and deserves to score the winning goal if that's what it turns out to be.

Need to hold this now. Northampton deserve nothing.

Phew! Just about to give up on us scoring again. Nice finish from Watts who has looked comfortable today.

Not entirely convincing against a Northampton side that barely looked good enough to be in this division. Still, a win's a win and into the top 6 we go with just 1 defeat in our opening 6 games. Nouble very good again and Watts had his best game to date and seems to be settling in well.

Phew, really glad we showed our persistence and quality to come through in the end, sometimes it looks like these games aren’t going to go your way but we’ve stuck at it, fair play

Best start to a L1 season in a long while, we're 9 games ahead on last L1 season and 10 ahead on the one before by points on the table.

Whilst the team look a bit shakey this could end up being a really exciting season,

Now just to be allowed into HP....

Which shows the difference between a fan & manager. A few posts regrading Watts & Nouble in previous games sounded like some were giving up on them already, whereas some managers see something different & have much more patience thankfully.

I would have been spitting nails if we hadn't won that. Northampton are absolute toilet and won't stay up on that evidence.

We need to find a way to convert more of our possession and attacking build-up play into actual chances. Not everyone will be as poor at the back as Burton and Northampton.

Even those who have set their sights on no more than staying up will be feeling quietly optimistic. Relegation form of 40 points from our remaining 40 games will suffice on that score.

On the other side of the coin, better teams won’t flood the defence and we’ll have more space to create chances.
