Good performance so far. Functional rather than spectacular and making a very good Portsmouth team look only ok.
Hardie and Cooper disappointing so far.
Nouble, Fornah and Watts excellent

A good game, we've played well and should've scored a second goal.

Cooper's crossing needs to be better and as always we are lop-sided and need more from the right hand side.
Camara has been quiet.

The Sky Pompey bias is very surprising.

Watts, Mayor and Frank taking the eye. Camera and Edwards very quiet.

We could be two up, or even three.

First half often good, second half

Think GC may be replaced by Grant soon. Tracking back on left side all being done by Mayor.

Good Half. Nouble, Fornah and Watts are standout performers so far.
Get the feeling Jephcott brings more out of Hardie than Nouble does. Jeph shares more of the stretching runs that Hardie is having to do so far.

Need a second goal, and for Opoku to ease his arm grip from around Marquis!!

Half time analysis is all about how well we've played. So that's fair.

Good half. Last 15 a little quiet but for the first 30, we were very very good.

On the ball, our playing out from the back has been superb through the Portsmouth press. Just shows the value of having a keeper and centre backs who can pass, we're able to build up from the back and get Mayor / Cooper on the ball in good areas. Portsmouth meanwhile have tried, and failed, to play out of from the back on quite a few occasions. We'll have the odd scary moment, like the one with Watts - and sometimes we won't get away with that, it'll lead to a big chance or even a goal. However, we have to continue playing like this, it gives us so much more in attack than just hoofing the thing clear.

Off the ball excellent too - Nouble has chased everything down, Camara as always has nipped away and won possession back, and whilst Cooper still needs to work on some aspects of the wing back role, his defensive work rate has been good.

Pompey will come at us in the 2nd half, for sure. We need to keep our heads, keep playing through their press as we have done brilliantly so far, and we can win this game.

Analysis is fine, the commentary is awful, to suggest that was a "very even" half is just preposterous and there's no attempt to even hide the Pompey bias.

Very good half, we look a side that can compete at the top end of the league. Terrific opening 20 minutes from Nouble, Watts particularly and the defence generally looking assured, Cooper's delivery not too good tonight and I think he will be hauled off soon. Fingers crossed our level doesn't drop in the 2nd half as it has on several occasions this season.

Hope we don't rue that dominance and only going in one up. Our second halves have been poor this season.

Good first half mind

I miss that quote Cobi, but it’s unsurprising isn’t it?

However, I thought generally the comms narrative was we were on top.
