A lot of our balls are trying to be put in behind their high line, which is not a bad tactic and works when you have someone like Hardie, but Jephcott is unbelievably slow isn’t he, he looks like he’s running in sand, he’s put through on goal and the CBs just catch him up and take the ball off him like candy from a baby.

Blackpool on the other hand are very pacey and very dangerous, unfortunately it feels to me like a league 2 vs league 1 cup game with the underdogs currently ahead

We need more composure in midfield. We’re panicking under pressure and lose possession.

A pretty torrid spell for Argyle after such a bright start. We are looking a little overrun in midfield but thankfully Cooper at least has been up to the challenge. Blackpool certainly looking a good side but we still have our noses in front as Camara replaces Grant.
