Bristol City are home on the Saturday of the FA Cup weekend so that could influence the date of the match if Rovers get through, although the two Bristol clubs have played at home on the same day in the last couple of seasons.

Can't see the Police allowing City and Rovers at home on the same day if one of them is playing Argyle with a 1000+ fans in town.

However, first things first. Rovers have a poor record in the Cup in recent seasons and they now have to play away on an artificial pitch against the team who are top of the National League.

Quite a few Greens live in the London Borough of Bromley.....ground just two miles from here.....I remember 4 years ago them going down to Torquay and putting 7 past them.

In the 1950's they were one of the top amateur clubs in the Isthmian League/Country and won the Amateur Cup Final a few times.

In the League pyramid Bromley are only 12 places below Argyle ?

Didn’t realise Bromley have an artificial pitch..

Don’t they also play in green and white?

For anyone interested a film called 'The Bromley Boys' was released last year based on Dave Robert's book of the same name. It tells the true story, although hammed up in the film, of the club's remarkable escape from relegation during a troubled season in the Isthmian League. It is a gentle unassuming comedy and an undemanding watch - a sort of non-League 'Fever Pitch'.

The connection with Argyle is that the hero of the film was actually Ian Stonebridge's father

Interesting!!
Billy Craske scored the winner at Burnley in the Premier Youth Cup after we had beaten Man City on penalties in the previous round.
I think his brother, Finley, is in our Academy.

For info of Argyle fans, Bromley have only given Bristol Rovers a very small section of an uncovered terrace in the corner for the replay next Tuesday.

If we play there it wouldn't even go to general sale. Best bet for getting in is the game is on TV and its moved to some ungodly hour to suit BT or BBC. Bromley are selling home and away tickets via the Eventbrite website so seems an easy process if you qualify for a ticket.

There are no pubs in the vicinity of the ground but plenty near Bromley South Station.
