Does this explain the secrecy around the group. I am sure they could afford a lot more then 0.77p in the pound, but at that price have got one hell of a deal.

Probably one of the main reasons for the secrecy. Though sad for any independent business who is owed money by Argyle, the same sentiments don't hold for the directors who took their finger off the pulse. That was their risk as it is to any director.

Ans the less money paid to creditors leaves more money for Argyle.
