I hate cup draws like this one. We always seem to get drawn against one of the stronger teams in whatever division we are in (like we were against Charlton) or a middling/boring team from the division above. There’s a reasonable we’ll lose and I’ll be fed up about it but also a reasonable chance that we’ll win and then I will consider it a waste of a win (and what would have been 3 points) against a team we are competing in the same league as. Why can’t we be drawn against a team with a cool, proper ‘FA Cup’ name that we’ve never seen before like Marine or Solihull Motors or Canvey Island or Havant & Waterlooville? If we do beat Lincoln we’ll probably draw a team like Hull or Ipswich from League 1 or Millwall or Birmingham from the Championship or if we do get a Premier League team it’ll be West Brom away.

Basically, you get on TV is you are, or are playing, a non-league team. Which is fair enough really.

There are 8 more matches from the remaining 12 to be picked for TV coverage so the 4 not chosen will be really peeved at missing out on the TV money.

They've announced the other 8 games today and we're one of those 4 games not selected at all. But at least we'll be able to watch the glamour tie that is Barrow or Wimbledon v Crawley!

If it’s available on iFollow - we’d surely be better off from a revenue POV through that platform - assuming more than 1250 subscriptions are purchased.
