I must admit that when Tafari Moore, Smith-Brown and Riley we’re off the payroll, I hoped that we would have tried to use the savings to recruit another centre back as we looked very exposed in that department. Sure enough, Sawyer gets suspended for 3 games.
I just hope that management is confident that Aimson’s return is imminent.

I felt sure we would bring in a central defender during the window and that was BEFORE the Sawyer suspension. What we don’t know is whether Lowe didn’t think he needed one, tried and couldn’t get his targets or wasn’t given the funds by the owner.
