Should Argyle be obligated to put money into non-league clubs?

It’s business (not) as usual for all leagues. In this scenario, charity will be a long way off.

Do Argyle have similar resources to Prem League clubs? A non point.

It’s not a non point.

Do Plymouth Parkway have the same resources as Plymouth Argyle?

Every football club throughout the pyramid will be suffering financially.

I’d love a handout from Premier. Merely pointing out that we won’t get it. In the same way Plymouth Parkway won’t get one from the EFL. Get the point now ?

No I dont get it. There is absolutely no comparison between the wealth/income of Prem clubs to Argyle and Argyle to Parkway.

I suspect you do get it. But in case not, I’ll have one final try.
They spend lots of money in ordinary circumstances.
Right now they have there own concerns around finances (see Spurs loan)
They don’t have to give us any money.
Therefore they won’t give us any.

And whats that got to do with my point? They can afford it Argyle cant. Simples!!

I didn’t realise you’d made a point. I was just clarifying mine tbh!

Still now you’ve made I’ll say it again...

Who cares if they can afford it - they certainly don’t.

I care. As do many others. You started off comparing Parkway and Argyle and now have changed the subject.

Meanwhile Chelsea sign a striker for £50 Million on a 5 year contract. Straight away there EPL TV money should be deducted by £50 million in my opinion

why ask Norwich and Burnley for £2 million when Chelsea are paying fees like that ?

Nope same point - I think it’s just you finally understood it. Why not just say - I ah see what you mean?

You see, I understand your point, and I agree lots of money is involved in Prem.

I was illustrating the point (talking of Argyle / Parkway) that all clubs will be looking after their own interests first. That’s what premiership will do, and that’s what EFL will do. That’s what Argyle will do, that’s what every club up and down the country will do.

Not saying it’s right - but it is a fact.
