Can't wait to see the finished stand. I love the fact that we're doing a refurb - it will give us something really unique rather than these identikit stadia you see everywhere.

So it is the stand I wanted and something I'll be very proud of.

I agree, I always thought it would be a shame and unnecessary to pull the old stand down.

I work on the 4th floor at Plumer and I can confirm that I heard collective sighs this morning, and Argyle are on the 2nd floor so it was pretty loud! :lol:

Good news it’s finally been signed.

However I did notice ‘will open early in the 2019-20 season’. So does this suggest it won’t be ready for the start of the season?

Or will the stand be in place ready for fans but other facilities still being finished off...

The finish date has been stated as October '19 for quite a while.

Ok sweet... a lot of posts on here have been saying it won't be ready in time for the start of 2019/20 before this news was released so wasn't sure if it had been pushed back.

This is great news and as I said on previous posts the "non" signing of the main contract was really not an issue. It is very common in construction for the main contract not to be signed until all design issues are resolved/agreed and a final price agreed. This appears to be the case here and now we can all look forward to the grandstand being completed.
