All commentators and pundits use it, and it drives me potty.

Last season, a commentator actually said, ‘He’s six feet two, in terms of height’. Really?! I thought you were telling me his feckin shoe size!

I always used to quite like Ron Atkinson's use of 'muck and nettles defending'...his other terminologies,less so. :facepalm:

Why are all deflections ‘wicked’? Also can’t stand the term ‘Gaffer’. To anyone of my generation it has forelock tugging connotations.

I absolutely hate "He put his body on the line" and its all too frequent use in a football context. That is what our military and emergency services personnel do, not footballers.
