Argyle fans with a lot (and I mean 'a lot') of wedge

Who are these people, I don't need names, its more of a question of DO they Exist????

I would like argyle fans to run the club but we have had all combinations of ownership now and they all get to a point and fail due to poor support.

Sometimes I ask myself What is the point...................then I carry on, if only we could magnify our support and had 20000 season ticket holderS!!!!

What a "Skewed" poll

If you now added Dick Turpin to the list, he would now appear to be most popular. PJs' "late entry" should have had a number of votes added IMHO. Nice website though.

FYI: email from Peter Jones

Hi Tim, thanks for your note.

It's impossible to do too much at the moment - the club's owned by 7
people, who show no signs of budging.

However, there are a lot of people working away behind the scenes. To
build the Trust, so the fans have a voice; to attempt to persuade the
Council that they could, in the event of administration, help
enormously by buying back the stadium; and also to try and find
potential long-term investors.

I'll do what I can, in the context of all three of those tasks.

Best

Peter

Further email from Mr.Jones.

Thanks for your note.

I can assure you that I (and many others) are doing all we can behind
the scenes.

But it's not easy. The current directors show absolutely no signs of
wanting to budge. So it may take administration before the logjam can
be cleared - and also a declaration of intent from the council.

Regards

Peter

Pete, in footballing terms this guy is on the dole!!! He hasn't got the level of wealth to support Argyle IMHO. Kagami is far wealthier and I know he isn't a fan but that may make him more likely to take a financial punt, he doesn't seem interested because he would be throwing good money after bad. So far you have found 1, that doesn't make a consortium, keep digging pete, it makes interesting reading if anything!!!!
